Camp Cheatham Hill is open to the general public. Any school aged child (entering kindergarten through exiting 7th grade) is welcome to attend our camp regardless of what school they attend. Our camp program runs consecutively during the summer months. The start date and end date vary based on the Cobb County school calendar. For your convenience Camp Cheatham Hill is also open during the extended breaks over the course of the school year. These breaks include Thanksgiving, Winter Holidays and Spring Break.
There is a $25 non-refundable registration fee. The registration fee is annual and must be paid on or before the first day your child attends camp for the summer session. ALL campers are required to pay this fee. Once the fee is paid your child may attend all camps and camp related events throughout the school year. You will only be required to pay tuition after the registration fee has been paid.
Camp will be held at Cheatham Hill Elementary School Monday through Thursday during the summer months. Directions to the school are listed on this website. CAMP WILL BE CLOSED ON FRIDAYS DURING THE SUMMER SEASON!
A typical day of camp consists of morning and afternoon rotations. These rotations include, but are not limited to, arts/crafts, technology, Athletic, Academic, and outside play. There is a mandatory math/reading session immediately following lunch in which campers are required to practice these skills. Additionally, we have a designated water day each week in which campers have the opportunity to play on large water inflatables and bring water toys. There are no off campus field trips. All activities, visitors, events, etc…take place on campus for the campers to enjoy!
Campers are required to bring their own lunch and drink each day. There is the option to purchase lunches daily. Lunch will include main entrée, chips, fruit, cookie and drink. Gatorade drinks will also be available for purchase daily. Cost is $1.
Camp drop off and pick up is located at the Irwin Rd. entrance of Cheatham Hill Elementary (this is the bus port area). Enter through the doors marked ASP. There will be signs posted to guide you.
